Smile Drive

The past two years have been tough on everyone, but one of the groups that have had it toughest have been those who are living in long term care homes.

Aside from the fact that more than 1/3 of all COVID deaths in Ontario have been in residents of these homes, they have had to withstand months of isolation from their family and who knows what this year will look like.

That's why Watermark Plumbing has launched the “Smile Drive” – an initiative with the goal of bringing smiles to the faces of 5000 people this holiday season.

After coming up with the Smile Drive, we have been in contact with long term care homes across the city who are extremely excited that this could be a possibility. We just need your help in getting there!

We are asking you, your kids, your friends, your students or classmates, and everyone else you know, to take 10 minutes out of your day and write a short letter or draw a picture for one of these residents. If you like, you can even include your contact information and they might write back!

On December 23, we will be hand delivering these letters to care homes across the city – just in time for Christmas. We’ve only got 3 weeks to pull this off, so we need to move fast!
